Stoning is one of the options but Allah didn't order us to stone those who commit zinah. I beleive there are other alternatives. it is not even pleasing to eye or mind. Just watching it people will have psychological issues imagin those who took part of the stoning they must be heartless.

This was widely on the news. Girl was kurdish originally from Yazidi religion, but she converted to Islam and wanted to marry a muslim man. Because of that her relatives stoned her to death. After this incident dozens of Yazidi men were killed by muslims, including this girl's two brothers who were taking part of this.
