Re: Before Qabil
Anyways we need to stop this nonsense

Re: Before Qabil
I used to always hear some relatives of mine talk about qabil, so there was some "name recognition" there, but I never knew anything about qabil until I was in High School. I found out what my clan was from a fellow student and I'm still surprised that she even knew what I was.
Anywho, I've never really had any "negative" qabil experience because most of the Somalis in my neighbourhood have always been other Majerteens.
And LOL @ all Hawiyes being dark ass mofos. Westernized kids are so hilarious.

yeah this reminds me of when Caydiid RIP died..Everyone in my neighborhood were celebrating..except for my family...I asked my mom why is everyone happy...but she just looked at me sadly and told me not to worry about it[/quote]
I remember that day, we had a little party at my house. I thought it was someones birthday. I've never seen my mother so happy. It was a very memorable moment.

Re: Before Qabil
Most of my family is Geledi so I knew I was Geledi since I was little. I found out what Digil y Mirifle was a few years ago though.
I never had a bad qabiil experience as theirs nothing bad to say about us.
But once I was with my friend who was Isaaq and we went to a Somali store and he saw a dude who he knew who was Isaaq too. We all start chit chatting and I guess the guy thought I was Isaaw too and was talking about af-maay, not knowing that I was maay. He quickly retracted after he found out though
