The only thing we know is Digil y Mirifle are the original clans of the south. The whole south.

The whole Somali thing is just a collection of a bunch of clans, that no one really knows where they came from.

Digil y Mirifle doesn't have the ancestor thing so there is no father Digil or Mirifle. Rather it was a confederation of the southern clans, they all speak maay and have similar dhakan. They were the original clans of the south.
