Some Somali women would prefer an AA/White/Spanish over a Somali man who is midgaan or Hawiye or any other clan. Don't you feel it is wrong to overlook something important such as race but not overlook something trivial as clan?

No one should be looking at a person based soley on race or tribe PERIOD. They should look at the persons level of deen eman and personality because ones skin color or tribe does not define who they are, so i find it rediculous and narrow minded that there are people who refuse to marry someone simply because they are Midgan or Hawiye.

It could be the fact that they don't live near a single Somali. Did you think of that one?

My dad's brother married 3 Afro-American women before he met the first Somali woman in his city. But he came to the states real early and there was not a single Somali woman in sight. The lack of Somali women were a major factor in his decisions to marry outside the race. But the very moment that he got access to Somalis, he married instantly.

Paid Monk..in that case its totally understandable..even here in the U.K when the Somali seamen came in the 50s and 60s they intermarried with the local white and jamaican women...in Liverpool im told there are lots of mixed people around..sadly some of them arent Muslim anymore ..as those seamen went back to live in Somalia and married somali women.

Yeah there's loads, and it just isn't Liverpool, its many old school British cities. But the reason why most of them children aint Muslims or don't consider their somali side is because their fathers were never around *they semans, what do you expect*, it was usually a halaal hit and run.

Anyway, somali's could marry who ever they want, who said they have to stick to somali's only. There's a big world out there, go fishing

The real reason lies in majority of Somali men being physically and mentally weak. The majority of Somali men have lived up to the damaging stereotype that Somali men are weak in bed too.
