Salamaad!...Because of the holy month i cant say what i realy want to say about this topic.

Indeed, we have it easy yet so many broken marriages b/c of irresponsible husbands. Someone please care to explain to me how a woman is supposed to obey, a man that is not fulfilling his basic duties to his wife and children and to ALLAH???????

it is not xaram to ask for a divorce if you think you cannot remain in the marriage. i am not advocating for divorce per se, but if you must..then you must. find yourself another one worthy of your efforts.

Yeah offcourse divorce is always available then what marke la dhaho guurigi bay baa'baisey for no reason? The thing is these days, people do not values the rules of marriage through Islam and when you say its easy for us, it actually is but only if the ones partner is doing their part as well. Otherwise, you are faced with either an unhappy marriage or a dissolved marriage after another. It happens and it happens often and the reason being is people stay in these marriages b/c of kids. Some mother rather stay if their children's father even though they might not have an ounce of respect for him b/c they dont want another man around.

Anyways, I think I deviated alittle fom my point, but DIvorce is not as easy as it seems.

Sadly, in this day and age, a lot of women take it as a point of pride to not listen to their husbands and what not. This is a product of TV & pop culture.
