What is even more low is mis-using the pictures just to score a cheap point by alleging that whole clans were behind that made-made famine when certain individuals and their supporters where the main source of this tragedy.

The main source of the triangle of death was based on Caydiid's miscalculation. He thought he could prevent SNF from returning to Xamar by cutting off the food supplies, but instead starved the innocent Raxanweyns.

If you know who did not use scorched earth policy when retreating to Gedo, the people would not even need food supplies, as their farms were enough.

So do not blame one side while ignoring the other.

1-Barre's forces used scorched earth policy when retreating to Gedo.
2- The heated Civil War and USC's immorality hindered food supplies to be delivered to the people.




But cause 1 is ofcourse the most important, since Barre's forces purposefully used a scorched earth in which they destroyed the nr1 livelihood of the agricultural Somalis of Baay and Bakool. Cause 2 only exacerbated.

First your whole post consists for 3/4 of justifications for why raxanweyn were landed in that starvation, by telling us how they mistreated Barre's forces who retreated through Baay.

Then you say that Caydiid is to blame.

The fact is, if those farms were not burned down they would not face starvation.

Aid would not be needed if the farms were not burned down by Barre's retreating forces.

Can we agree on that?

Also, nothing and I mean nothing can justify the causing of mass starvation for around 300-500.000 people.
