Laakinse, Muslims should never wish to impress non-Muslims, especially if it will lead us to comprise our beliefs so that they may accept us. They have their religion, and we have ours. There are many who constantly mock the religion of Allah, thats fine - since this is their behavior, and Allah foretold us 1400 years in the quran that the Jews and Christians will never be pleased with us, until we follow their religion/way.

Dear brother, the Masjid was built before his death, and was not built over his grave. The Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salam was not buried in the mosque, rather he was buried in his house which was separate from the mosque. As the Masjid expanded, they incorporated his grave to Masjid al-Nabawi.

Anyways, most western gaals are atheist liberals(obama's base) devoid of any religion and they criticize all organized religion. There is definitely a bias against muslims in the western world and in print media, but does that mean as muslims we should ignore the un-islamic and inhuman behavior of some militant muslims because of said bias? The raping and stonning of that poor girl in kismaayo is a perfect example.

What's more important worrying about western bias or making sure islamic leaders/groups adhere to islamic teachings, and there is no abuse of our beautiful religion?
