I seen a few, not just one or two!

Perhaps they could've been Ethiopians as I never spoke to them, but unmistakably horn African homeless folks in London.

adopting the culture of the US or UK its not only individualism, you are losing your Somali culture and this will ultimately result in bad mouthing your parents and such things, because that is the norms of the US and UK.

i dont understand how you and others deny US/UK short comings when you manifest in Somalis struggle and turmoil

America has people from all over the world. They all came here for the better life, they wouldn't be here if their countries didn't have those same opportunities.

This whole "get educated, work, go back home" doesn't exist.... the myth of return is just that.

My dad was even saying this the other day.

He wants to go back home he hasn't even been in Somalia since 1981 when he was my age, but he realizes that Somalis en masse are not going to go back home... America is our home.

My mom even just scolds when Somalia is brought up, she says "Somali waa dhamaday" its finished, done, over with, ect

i think the definition of homelessness baa laysku khalday. or i got it wrong. because homelessness waxaan u aqaanaa. dad aan meelay seexdaan haysanin. these guys/men do have places to sleep ee if they decided to stand if front of shops and merfishs all da long doing nothing is up to them. it dont quilfy them as homeless though. they just low lifes. but at then end of the day kuligood they have place to go and sleep. caydh way qaataan.

Economically disatvantaged is probably what You mean. It is almost impossible to be homeless in America unless You have some sort of a mental problem. You Could be educated and still can be financially unstable..Going to school and getting you degree doesn't mean shit anymore at least in these times..which worries me.
