I've been through sheekh and its at best 2 large hills with a road that runs through them.

On the other hand

Sanaag and Western Bari are the only places in Northern Somalia with actual mountains.

ps: Voltage that hill of a mountain you call isnt bigger then one hill that surronds hadaaftimo

I wanna start a Mining company in somalia, extract precious minerals I know Gedo has valuables but am sure all these mountains in our country are really promising. I believe our resources include precious metals, gold, coal, iron etc. :D

The coastal land past Qaw between Dur Duri and Ceelayo is pretty picturesq. Waves crashing against the make shift road with the mountain over top. Wallahi a Malibu missing seaside mansions.

I remember traveling back from Ceelayo and their was this mountain that jutted steep down near the road and the water with dark bbqed rocks the size of our landcruiser. I remembered we'd say "dont fall" in the Somali. Thats what its nickname was.

Going through Badhan to Laas Qoray now you get common stories of people and cars falling down cliffs. I remembered we'd travel at night, wallahi thats the closest Id come to death.

People need to differentiate between hills and mountains. Overwhelming majority of the pictures posted are those of hills. Not anything that is above surface counts as a mountain.
