The Primary problem is there will never be a unified political point of view 15 Reconciliations later we are still searching for a perfect solution. Diaspora exerts negative enfluence, those charged with implimenting any change are expected to show higher then normal standards of operation that are are impractical.
I dislike shabab more then anyone else, but i don't think they should just vanish. They have a role to preserve the balance of power required to maintain the TFG(warlords) on track or the Warlords of the TFG will do what they do best sell somalia to the highest bider transfer funds to offshore accounts and vanish.
If they are both replaced you will still face the same inequity.
The warlords and the sheiks have to be forced, enfluenced or begged to coexist in a symbiosis beneficial to both parties and in the process the population will have the long awaited peace. This symbiosis is the only sure way to retain a check and balance system that prevents either becoming too powerful to reach a stage of abusing their power.
The symbiosis will adress both the concerns of the people in the daispora.

Mixed government without external enfluence for the people by the people. Equal share of power is the way forward for we should by now be aware and certain absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The enfluence of thsoe in the diaspora to make this a reality is grossly under estimated... Are you ready to respect a coalition government?
