Oromo as a nation , population wise, is much bigger than Ogadeen.
And it keeps growing, even today when being oromo is not enviable there r people who r still assimilated.
In fact Oromos r becoming just association of poor/oppressed/outkast people of the horn.
southern peoples like konso,burji, and part of Gedeo prefer to be seen as part of oromo.

Bareento be realistic, you know the population that Tplf give the Oromo is false, there are more then 30 million Oromos back home.

Bareento can you update us on OLF...i know they were formed 15 yrs before the ONLF..why are they so ineffective...do they lack funding and support from their people in the diaspora

Queen, OLF did a series of major strategic mistakes, that almost annihilated it in early 90s.
As a matter of fact, they seem to have still some popularity in diaspora and oromolands.
But its as if there is a doubt as for their capacity.

The leaders r not shrewd, treacherous and possess ever changing mentality;
they have this age old oromo mentality of believing everything and everyone whereas in the horn one should be a gangster to survive.
