Those who opposed him were worst like Warlord Siilaanyo and his snm clan militia, they were basically mujrimiin, criminals, and traitors. The warlords destroyed Somalia, they still killing innocent somalis inside Somalia. The 21 years of Siyad Barre, were better, than the 20 years of civil wars that followed.

President Siyad Barre Allah ha u Naxariistu, janadana ha dajiyo, he was protecting Somalia from warlords, criminals, and mujrimiin.

all he was looking for was power. he was a power hungry animal who used the old divide and conquer to country the people. In the process, he brutalized thousands of somalia.

Blessed country but its inhabitants are cursed.

You can't be that thick. Yes, the warlords ended up focking the country, but that's what DICTATORSHIPS CREATE. When you repress people for that long, brutalize them, take away their freedoms, they end up responding in the worst fashion possible. Siyaad barre created SNM, USC by his actions ALONE. Somalia was on track before the coup in 69, which essentially started the process of destruction.

Let's get it straight with Siyaad barre. While he developed Xamar (Xamar was already developed before he was there btw, look at video before 69 for proof), he ignored every other are of somalia. People in mudug or waqooyiga didn't see SHID. He forgot about them. Places like Galkacyo, bosaso and Hargeysa are better developed today than they ever were under that tyrant known as afweeyne. Sheekadan cusub ha noo akhrin saaxib. He was a mujrim faasiq.

  @ siyaad barre was protecting somalia was criminals. He was the same thug that brutalized the isaaq civilians for no reason other than elements in Isaaq opposing him. He bombed a whole city for a reason. Caydiid himself left his post as ambassador because of Siyaad's actions against hawiye civilians. He created SNM and USC. Period.

If it is dictators that create fitnah between the people..How come when Mengiste was ousted they didn't kill each other...

Sorry huuno, thruth should be told...Siyad Barre was fighting against what is happening now..It does not matter few blocks build in Hargeysa, Boosaaso or eleswhere....

There is no Nationhood and DIGNITY

Look at us huuno....Everyone is going to Melez as Melez is the Hajj...No one is free and independent to do what his people wish or what is good for his people..No Away..Every little issue is dictated for them....
