A year ago two large groups of Somali teanagers sent to trip to Umrah by their parents who lived with me in the hotel totally tore the place up from shower to beds from door to door and attacked one another with bars and knives and hotel equipment. The Hotel manager was totally aghast with what had happened and the poor fella was left to do deal with it. and the worst things was that it was in the holy city of Mekkah.

Not surprising since even the holy city of Mecca has youth gang wars.. Between Somalis iyo arabs, with knives, guns etc.

Anyway, I've lived all over the UK *in some of the most Somali populated areas* and walahi I've never ever witnessed any of the stories being reported.
I remember a years back when there was a Somali and madow gang war in a Somali populated area my aunt lives in, but that only lasted a few weeks and it wasn't too wild.. Even though grown Somali women got involved, it was actually entertaining

He called us a week ago and said the son of a arab police officer shot a Somali youth *apparately it isn't a rare thing*.. Plus I've heard stories like this before.

But yeah the Somalis won against the madows.. I remember seeing a Somali woman in a Jilbaab smack down two madow women infront of the police..
