You got cold? Now you told me on the net I might get it. I've got the weakest immune system that even someone who has cold talks on the phone with me & I get it. :(

I always thought it's psychological & it sucks. I get at least twice the common cold every year.

First I start with soar throat during the day, then kinda feel I am tired and jirkoo dhan aa i bur-bura & the evening I get fever and that's it. Usually qandho, running nose & soar throat uu u badan yahay keyga, more of infection kinda hargab.

You get it more than that?

The thing is, I only started going to a doctor & taking anti-biotics in the last two years (and that's just for the certificate to get paid for those sickie days from work) & don't like medicine. I tried taking those prescribed tablets but they don't do that much coz the fever & and the other shit take their time whether I use medicine or not.

I usually use honey + lemon + garlic (<< though I hate it but that's the only time I consume it uncooked ) & also soup.

I get it at least 3 times a year.It is a given at that environment tho and i refuse to have flu shots.

When i feel it is coming on,i have solid grams of vitamin c (if u like oranges, lots of it) and 7 days course of ginseng. Those work and i experience the minimum effect of the hergab.

Antibiotics are useless in common colds. They work on bacterial infection, not virals.U just need lots of rest, fluids and something for the fever.

I never take the flu shot either (didn't like it even way before those related conspiracy theories surfaced. I never accepted when asked at work to have a free shot) but I might try the vitamin c. But yeah, I also use oranges and if the amount of vitamin c in oranges = to the tablet then it might not work for me.

What is ginseng?

Ginseng waa herb. The Chinese and most Asians swear by it.

If u dont like the caffeine stimulation,u wont like it tho.
