Arabic script , we wrote in it prior to the English arriving at our shores, and in a matter of time we shall do so, again.

Independence came and for 9 Years, 2 governments, the official language was Italian, the writing was in Italian, then in 1972 the official language became Somali, the script of my great uncle Shire Jaamac dating back to the 1950s was adopted, of course he did not create his own letters and characters but the script is indeed credited to him, there is more to a script than the apparent characters, see a Danish can't read english nor can an english read german.
