I don't think the issue is marrying out. I personally wouldn't, but if a guy or girl want to marry a non-somali it has nothing to do with me. My gripe is when they marry someone like Abu-convict ibn welfare cheque or some cadaan hillbilly with no job and multiple convictions "because he's muslim" or some arab dude who said "hello" to her once. Essentially selling themselves cheap because of their self esteem problems and daddy-issues. That is when terms like 'cheap and clean' become annoying.

“We would lose our religion as somalis” are you kidding me?! Unless you’re marrying a person who is kafir and you’re not strong in your faith to start with, then that is completely a different story. If the person you marry is a good Muslim who follow the Quran and the sunnah then you shouldn’t be losing your religion whether his is Somali or not.
