It happens in all cultures.. Somalis are no different.
I've only ever witnessed two incidents.. kinda.
The first time was between an older couple. The wife was hitting him, with pans, rolling pin etc not once did he hit her back.. he also mentioned that she always hits him and he was worried that any day now he will snap.. Not sure if he ever did.
The second time was between a young couple.. in their mid 20s. I didn't witness it but the young lady came over to my house (she was my sister's good friend) she needed advice.. her husband beat her while she was 7 months pregnant.. the marks he left on her was heart breaking... she finally left him.

there are abusive men in all societies which included somali, however there is a difference between an individual and a cultural. By cultural i mean that in the indian culture it is perfectly acceptable for a husband to abuse his wife, while in the somali community it is not acceptable.

Untrue. I had neither seen my father beating my mum nor any OG relative doing so, and I, myself, walk away from 2 marriages when things got out of hand.
Don't trust rumours.

somali men are xoolo they beat their wives sida ragga.
i don't think i'll ever beat my wife. if i have to beat my wife i beat her with gucci belt to show her how i love her.
