Bro, you asked a good question. I will answer you honestly. Habargidir in all fairness did not really harass the Biimaal during the late 90's when Indhocadde gained control of S/Hoose. They were mainly concerned with the farms owned by the Italians, Darood individuals; enriching themselves through control of NGO'S and the taxes they levied on the populace The Biimaal were predominately left to their own devices. The ones who really suffered were the Cadcads, Digil and Bantus that were used as slave labour. Nonetheless, they did feel aggrieved that a non native clan was exerting authority in their backyard but did not have the weaponry to really challenge them.

After the Shabab era they became empowered and acquired military training and weapons. They were no longer willing to have a clan that has no roots or significant numerical presence dictate to them how to govern their district. As a Murursade you are well aware of the clan dynamics of S/Hoose considering you guys have a presence in Buulo Mareer and other areas. The conflict really boils down to governance; who controls NGO operations, who collects taxes from the lucrative farms and farmland. When the Biimaal exercised their authority as the appointed governors of Marka district, they naturally met resistance from men who have a vested interest in continuing their hegemony over the district. If I was to put myself in Habargidir shoes, I can understand why they would be hesitant to relinquish control of such a lucrative district but the fact remains that it is a no win situation for either. The Biimaal and their former slaves are an overwhelming majority. The Habargidir have the support of the SNA and are backed by heavyweight financiers such as Xaaf, Indhocadde and the men who are attached to the NGO's that operate in S/Hoose. To cut a long story short, the two should reach a deal, leave the Biimaals to govern their district and in return the Habargidir that have legitimate business interests in Marka district should be allowed to continue their lives peacefully.
