Because most Faraxs are man-childs, spoiled by their mothers and fathers and made to believe they're kings and their sisters their servants. They're brought up in an environment where boys are cherished, coddled and are allowed to roam free and their sisters are worked, chastised and caged. I commend the brother, he's certainly made us aware of an issue that we were in the dark about. I never knew what a social justice warrior was, until this year. And I don't appreciate the digs they make on Somali culture either. I was just under the impression that they had little to no sway on the opinions and viewpoints of others. Perhaps, I was viewing it through my own perceptual filters and failed to realize that hordes of young people are on twitter and some of them are impressionable.

I don't agree nor support every Somali social justice activist. I don't have twitter nor do I follow these girls. However, I checked out Mango's twitter and she seems like a very intelligent young woman. If only Somali women back in the days were as outspoken, articulate and intelligent as the young women of this generation, perhaps Somalia would've been in a different situation.
