I haven't frequented this site in a while but I do agree with the mentality of most of the posters on this site.

Yallaxow is funny dude, I want his release, why was he even banned ! the guy is a freaking bus driver in sverige, he is a hard worker, this place is his bashaal playground, let him let off some steam with his comedy.X.Playa wrote:why are everybody crying for Yalxow ? I was banned more then 20 times by the same Daarood modes the last 5 or 6 times by the Ogaden fake-wadaad the weasel hyper and no fuckken idoor ever argued for my release. Stop the B.S if Yalxow do the crime ( troll) then let him serve the time (the ban).
Re: Addressing the qabiilists
Thought I'd revisit this thread to see my initial reaction upon coming back to this dump 4 months ago. Here are some of my thoughts:
1 - This place is super toxic and I remember now why I stopped coming to this madhouse in the first place
2 - It's impossible to discuss politics with Somalis without things turning ugly. Political debates should be avoided since a)nothing fruitful will come out of them and b) you will find yourself arguing for why some impoverished people back home should get invaded and "defeated" for the sake of your tribe (there are no political entities, only tribes)
3 - If you spend enough time around filth, you will eventually become desensitised to the stench. Most people here eventually do become desensitised, as did I, which is kind of fucked up and very scary.
4 - I have become more pessimistic about the future of Somalis after spending time here and other Somali forums. Seems like the more "politically conscious" we become, the more destructive we become which is very dangerous.
5 - Aside from the qabyaalad, what shocked me the most is the blatant shamelessness from people who are old enough to know better. I just left a thread where a new sister very politely introduced herself and a senior member asked her out of the blue if she was trying to market her vagina. This sort of shameless, embarrassing behaviour is pretty much the norm here to the point where the other members even encourage such filth. The absence of the mods is no excuse for why grownups choose to behave like primitive monkeys.
6 - Adding to the above points, it's weird how it is the most "traditional" members who engage in this sort of behaviour. Those who know the most about qabiil, Somali history and culture. If I didn't know any better, I would think that this type of primitive behaviour was encouraged in our culture. But in fact, the opposite is true. In dumarka lala tirsado, using foul language, acting "unmanly" etc are all traits of "gun-nimo". Our culture promotes nobility, acting in a way that is manly, honourable, respecting women and the elders etc.. I haven't seen any of that here.
Anyways, I apologise for the essay
My time here is up. I have to admit that I did end up contributing to the overall toxicity of the forum, which is something that I am very ashamed of, but it shows that no matter your initial intentions, nobody is immune from this disease that's plagued us for decades.
What I can say for certain is that I do not have any hatred in my heart for any clan or even the most degenerate najis who post here. I pity them. And if I have insulted your clan, then xaal qaado
It's been an... interesting... few months.

Ps. I won't be replying to any of your posts and won't even revisit this thread insha Allah.
To the good brothers and sisters on here: protect your essence and do not allow this place to corrupt you. I would even advise you to leave and maybe even create a new forum.
To the rest: May Allah guide you to the path of decency and uprightness.

Anonymity is the reason most people act this way, I'm sure most people are not as bad their online persona. I agree with you about respecting dumar, and I myself need to watch what I write here.
Re: Addressing the qabiilists
Don't let cyberspace chitchats bother you that much. Use it as an entertainment outlet and throw your few cents and move on
If you can find a better entertainment outlet, cool, go for it.
Try Twitter, it is all good. It replaces forums and news sites.

Naagnimo,
You said goodbye too many times but you still here. Find cure for your disease before blaming the forum for your weak and unstable mind/emotions.
Your bipolar way cannot live a day here without having an emotional outburst.
See next week with another calacaal before something else swings your mood in the opposite direction.

Best honest comment. We are all reflections of who raised us and the households we come from. I wish you good luck in working on your biases towards your fellow Somalis.

Re: Addressing the qabiilists
If you are done with qabyalad don't talk about it, completely ignore it and when it tries to invite you back in turn away from it, eventually it will leave you alone, you will see less of it. Ultimately you cannot eradicate it, but you can drastically reduce its effect on you by controlling your reactionary personality !
for example racism never really bothered me in my life, I do not constantly have arguments with racist, nor do I visit their websites, even the closet racist I do not discuss the topic of racism with them, I do not provoke the losers who want nothing more than to drag you down to their level.
think of qabyalad as a form of racism.

Re: Addressing the qabiilists
Adali, Racism is based on others being different from you. When it comes to Somalis, they are inbred who look alike, behave alike to the point where any nonsomali who becomes familiar with their physical attributes through couple pictures shown to them can spot a Somali in a crowd because of how similar they look. My white coworkers mention how I don't look like typical Somali which shows how much they absorbed typical Somali looks into their brains. This Somali qabiil phenomenon is based on illiteracy and lack of real faith in anything other than Qabiil. Qabiil is their religion period. People who are racist are willing their kind to make progress in life unlike Somalis who are of the same blood yet can not stand another Somali do good in life. If all America was white for example, they would have best health care, best education, free colleges and Universities. The objection to social progress in America is driven by racial hatred of the majority and not allowing others TO GAIN ANYTHING. Somalis apply similar racial bigotry and are first and second generation city dwellers at best. These are savages who saw city lights within the last 20 years. Before that, a little above 300, 000 Somalis had city experience, the rest were holed up in their deserts from Ethiopian lands, Kenyan Northeast to Somalia proper. Another century perhaps will open their eyes after most of them spend life in big cities and the current ones die en masse(Hopefully so their qabiil virus dies with them). Hope Somalia still exists and not occupied then, and taken over by their neighbors.

Re: Addressing the qabiilists
These are people who would send a text message to a Quranic Teacher complaining how one sub clan of Reer hebel is filling his room and that is why they could not get a spot for the kids in that Teacher's room since the Teacher is the best in the entire School.
Think about this for a moment. These parents are praying at the front line in prayer times, bring their kids to Dugsi/Quranic School yet are so poisoned by clan they are assailing a teacher who hails from their larger Clan for issues he has no control over.
These people are Cursed with the Clan and I am not surprised if people are doing the same on this forum. Virus baa dhiigooda ku jira deadlier than AIDS. THEY WOULD SELL THEIR SUB CLAN, COUNTRY, and LAND to score a victory against perceived Somali enemy. It is not Normal.
