Everybody should be concerned who muricans elect since murica is the most powerful country in the world it can literally do whatever it wants, like attacking, destroying other country and killing millions innocent ppl. Second, some of us have family members who live in murica who will be effected by trumpf's policies. Not only that, as a Muslim I am concern for my brothers/sisters who will subjected to profiling, spying and discrimination .
Third, US economy effects world's economy. So if Us goes into recession we will feel the heat too. Did you know that Canada and US has the largest trading relationship? We do business with US more than any other country in the world nd vice versa. And there's NAFTA agreement too. The idiot promised to walk away from it if US doesn't get more profit. If he cancel it it will hurt both countries. I hope you understand how the world works now

Donald Trump did win the electoral vote { system in america} on the following basis.
-Repealing Obamacare { the equivalent of stripping people in Canada of their health care coverage }
-Repealing the executive orders by Obama who give a certain protection to the parents of American born children to illegal immigrant parents in order to not torn families apart
-Bringing back the so called jobs that "white America" lost , something that is more due to automation {robots} more than anything else because I don't think any white man in america is gonna make shoes for 2 dollars an hour .
-Building a wall between Mexico and the US , a symbolical measure that will not automatically take care of the problem .
Again talking to the muse cabdalle waalid inkaar , none of this really affect him .
The real reason he loves Trump is because he thinks he hates muslims and that he will deal more favorably with Bashar al Assad .

The tone of the election was like a civil war within his own Party and against the Democrats, but finally Trump triumphed. This man has single handedly read the public mood in the U.S and given that a man who has been portrayed as a sexist has garnered the support of 53% of white women in America which half of them were college educated. A billionaire who has himself benefited from neo-liberalism has successfully appealed to Americans that he is one of them while promising to cut taxes for the super rich and at the same-time, convincing Americans that he will dismantle globalisation, tear down multilateral trade deals and introduce tariffs to protect and regenerate domestic manufacturing industries. He promised to increase the defence budget and yet campaigned as an isolationist. He tapped on the anger of people on their economic woes and they gave him the keys to the White House as a protest towards the establishment in Washington. Running America requires more than campaign rhetoric and Trump has already mellowed down seeking cooperation, diplomacy and not conflict with other States in his acceptance speech. If he falls flat, I'm afraid that he will attack a nation like Iran to increase his chances of winning for a second term. Expect hostilities towards Iran to boil.

Given the campaign had a civil war tone, America makes us Somalis embarrassed with how we conduct our own politics. With all smiles and handshaking, Obama sat down with Trump discussing the transition and advising him on the pressing issues both foreign and domestic faced by the incoming president. It was a cordial, civil and objective discussion for the benefit of a smooth transition. What could happened if they were two feuding Somali maamul goboleed politicians? They would have dragged their supporters (clans) into a civil war, till they are called to Dubai or Addis Ababa by their foreign masters and forced to sign a ceasefire.
