What argument? Somalia has no legal claims to SL nor is Somalia the sole legitimate representative of the defunct and illegal Somali republic.

The objective of the proposed union was to unite all Somalis, that's also out of the window given Djiboutis existence as a sovereign country and the treaties signed by your uncle Afweyne with Kenya and Ethiopia regarding the occupied territories.

They're not equal in any sense.

Somaliland was an independent country when Zoomalia was still a colony. Somaliland has historical legitimacy unlike Zoomalia given the archeological evidence proving continuous habitation by humans and the area within the holy triangle actually contains the highest amount of ancient settlements and stelaes in Somali inhabited territory. Some with Axumite, Sabean, Himyarite and undeciphered (indigenous) inscriptions, not to mention that it was inside the holy triangle the Puntite artifacts were discovered.

People from Zoomalia are a hybrid group that we only share language with and even that language is spoken in its pidgin form in Zoomalia.
