Fukk sufism.....yeah I said it. Waayo I know a documentary on sufism and what I have seen can not be called islam. In parts of turkey, the sufis drink alcohol and fukk each others wives on special ocassions. Well personally, I have nothing against that Laughing but that sh!t is islamically wrong.

Look how this site defines sufism. Pay attention to the highligheted part.

"Sufism or tasawwuf, as it is called in Arabic, is generally understood by scholars and Sufis to be the inner, mystical, or PSYCHO-spiritual dimension of Islam."
^^^Ina Ilkayar, I guess your parents must have been too busy raping the innocent with Afwayne during his regime to inform you that wrongly branding another Muslim as evil, kafir and with the manifestation of satan could only entail dire consequences for any Muslim on Judgement Day.

First it was 50 percent of Mj women are hoe's.

and

Now it is the Sufi's are Kafir's.

Sxb, you might want to be careful who you brand with the manifestation of satan or call Kafir because only Allah knows who is truly a rejector and who is merely a misguided person.

About calling other Muslims "kafir," this is what the following hadith reads: It is reported on the authority of Ibn `Umar that the Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) said: Any person who calls his brother: O Unbeliever! (then the truth of this label) would return to one of them. If it is true, (then it is) as he asserted, (but if it is not true), then it returns to him (and thus the person who made the accusation is an Unbeliever). [Muslim]

So, Ina Ilkayar, waste no time debating what a good Muslim should be. Be one before your turn out an unbeliever Arrow
Northbrother, Bid’ca can be defined as something innovative that doesn’t correspond with the tradition of the Prophet (pbuh) thus many claim that it falls under the xaram statutory. The chief purpose of Sufi practices(which many deem to believe is bid’ca) is the restoration of wholeness in people. For instance Sufi masters prescribe different medicine to their followers in the form of different kinds of practices with different intensities according to the type of illness which is being treated. We find that every Sufi Order has its own particular invocation, its own chanting and recitation, and its own ceremonies and methods of sitting or standing. However if we look carefully at our normal day-to-day lives we can almost point at every bid’ca we may consciously/unconsciensly be exercising in. For instance eating a with a knife and fork?Driving cars, but more to the point im making making dhikr/supplication that you chose to personalise.
You see when you look very carefully at Sufism, you will become to realise that its not ‘deviant’ as many call it, or a sect….Yes you heard it here. Sufism is not a sect.

And as brother rebel mentioned above its deeply inbedded in our Islamic faith and every muslim is required to practise every dimension/part which constitutes as strong pillars of Iman(faith)

So my point im trying to make is Sufism is not a sect. We are all Sufis by concept.

Qansa grow up for a second ok. If your saying **** sufism, the your saying fukk fiqu, fukk Ihsaan, fukk alkal-iman....yareey watch what you say. Subhannallah. In Sufi teaches nowhere does it legislate the comsumption of alchohol. And you to say its islamically wrong is hilarious, prove to me its wrong, im all ears
I used to chant with a Sheikh and his followers, praying for our prophet peace be upon him. We were very blessed and innocent in the heart. We weren't political organization with an aim to capture a land and rule without the will of the people.

Yaa rababiii bil mustafaa jib ducaanaa Bilqabuulii yaa man yujiibu ducaauuuu.

Salaams all

Mochantanya, nayaa..and you were the closest out of everyone here that nearly not yet quite got my point. OK....Im a Sufi by concept is the most clearest definition for every muslim, why? I'll tell you, Sufisim as you mentioned and i will keep repeating for the unteenth time is a DIMENSION, deeply embedded in Islamic scholarly and literature. It the one of the few important pillars of Iman(faith)...So you understand it is a concept right? Thus by concept that makes us 'sufis' and soo by many of the islamic facets we are followers of these concepts...and sp the wholesome definition of who we are is Muslims by faith ...Sufis by concept. That was merely my message and point. So you can breath on nayaa lol
And your completly right many sufi practises are Haraam and thats not mistakable, BUT...i do believe and passionatly, that many arent bida and are pruely used to reinforce the God-given Ruxh to empower spirtually ourselves and to call that bida deters one to reach Ihsaan, but that is my opinion.

Beenlow brother those that sit in the rooms chanting and wailing are lil freaky to me and alien. But as i mentioned before if it works try it, your soul is your soul, empower it Smile

Chilli...nayaa im not going to bother with you, suug aan ku arkee

Shaheen, was i kidding...erm kind of and kind of not Laughing Razz

ELEMENT, Im sure Qansagirl doesnt even know from right to left. Let him be.

Amat, understood dear, but do you have to separate yourself by saying 'I am a Sufi'? If it's understood that sufism is part of Islam, there is no need to differentiate yourself. I know you want to 'be yourself' and 'unique' but you have already set yourself apart by marrying Adeer Danyeer (Bless his fur socks Laughing ).
