The bottom line is you can't be a partime somali. Sijuis and djiboutians who become somalis when claiming asylum but abandon it once granted are parasites.

There are some good sijuis and djiboutians that never abandon somalinimo but these are few.

Somalis from somalia have killed each other, hate each other or are qabilites but they hardly abandon their ethnicity.

A lot of the people claiming that djiboutian people deny somalinimo have probably never talked to a djiboutian or simply have never asked the right question. I am a Somali ethnically and a djiboutien by birth, no matter what a salaf somali or a 111 may say

I am one of those Sijuis you candidly talking about, i first and foremost proud of being Sijui, secondly i have no shamed of having Somali blood in my vein watsoever. In my view Somalia offers the answer to your question. Somalis are naturally like to sift and sort people on the base of their faith, nationality and more importantly on tribe, no one will wish to describe individuals who have not born in Somali a somali. Speaking from personal exprience i have seen individual of Somali decent who have not had the oppotunity to have born in Somali, but their more patriotic than many Somalis....

I am somali-kenyan. I have no affinity towards somalia the state. I have zero relative in somalia and there is no way I will say i am somalian. somali by ethnic yes.

you see, we dont have bloody killers rampaging and pillaging all that they came a cross like those mooryaans in mogadishu. maybe it cos we dont have alot of hawiye folks in our neck of the wood (I dont think degodias in kenya call themselves hawiye). Laughing

I am somali kenyan and all that I give a fu*k about is my land (Garissa area) and the land of my ancestors (Godey, Ogadenia). I couldn't give a flying f*ck about somalia or bloody somaliland, the latter due to their hatred of all thing ogaden, I despise them with passion. bunch of f*ckers they're Evil or Very Mad

So, we sijui somalis (of NFD) are not different.
