Yes you are Faqash to me or to most Isaaq people, just because you are Hawiye it doesn't mean you aint Faqash.

Some ppl have to label you(you have to belong to a certain qabil) in order for them to talk to you, let alone judge you...we used to call those ppl Reer baadiye...back in the days...but they still exist obviously.


BTW...you cant be a Faqash and Hawiye at the same time...if you dont want admit what you are...at least you have to deny/renounce one...just like citizenships.

Faqash is not Hawiye, Daarood and Isaaq. It is a superlative label invented by the Isaaq to slander anyone who happens to disagree with the prevailing Isaaq orthodoxy. It is a highly flexible concept that is used to intimidate opponents and forestall rational discussion.

The main thing to remember is, the faqash is the person who is opposing the Isaaq line of thinking, interest or Idea at that very moment. In this case, anyone who dares to suggest that calling a tree in Somalia, "a christmas tree", is a rather unseemly thing would be called Faqash.
