#1baller,
Thanks for the nice words. However, I am not Jesus, the Messiah nor Moses the Warior, here. For that reason plus others known only to God, I save nobody nor Am I trying restore any nation back. How can you restore a nation back when almost all the people are insane savages who are all pranoided from "the other clan". All they think of is which clan is mr x from. Somalis can't unified in open environment. Somalis can live under any other nation governed by other nationality, than Somali. They follow orders like good kids when they are in foreign lands. Mostly they don't commit even normal crimes. The only crime they commit is the one that the victim is Somali.

They are f..cking chikens and so scarred. I have never seen any Somali who robbed a bank. Or commited any hight collar crime or even petty crimes. Yes, there are some kids who sell drugs on the streets. Even those kids are not soffisticated like Vietnam kids are or even west African and Jamaicans who live in New york are. The problem is we are lied by our savage parents who told us " we are Somalis who are better than other African and then we are all from top of the line clan".

What i am saying is just simple. We are people who can't govern themselves and can't unite. We only get big balls when we see other Somali who want to govern.
We obey every law on the books of our hosted nations other than our own.

Now nearly everybody in this board is against Ethiopia and the so-called Somali government
which Ethiopia is helping to restore law and order in Somalia. If you ask anyone here he/she is against, their reason would things like:

a) They will take over our seaports(who f..cking cares who uses these ports? They have been there since begining of time. Do these seaport depleteable resources? are we run out if Ethiopia uses next hundered years?).
b) Ethiopia is our enemy (How Ethioipa is your enemy you retarded focker?. Is enemy permanent entity that never changes? or animosity is something that can be reconciled based solving what your issues were?. Ethiopia the enemy is gone. Somalis in zone 5 whom we are fighting for their sake, are happy, now).

c) Ethiopia is christian Nation. they hate Islam and Muslims(So what?. Do you hate Christian nations that much?. Don't you live in Christinian nation and asking hand outs, you ungratefull lunatic!. ANd FYI, Ethiopia has more muslims than Somalia trippled).

you see, we ain't got any motherf...cking case to complain about. We just happen to cry babies and unreasonable spoiled kids.
Again thanks, man.

Ugaas diini aka former Qansa is a proud somali, that i know for sure. Laughing Laughing Laughing

As for me i am not. Sad I am ashamed of somalis, although i do defend them if an outsider, like my gaal friends attempt to demean somalis. And even then, i am not defending somalis per se, i am defending myself essentially. They know i am somali, so i take offense that if they insult somalis, they insult me.And believe me, now one wants to insult me.I will insult back with cut-throat wit that will leave my victim crying internally. It is not like we had a choice of what to be so in the same way, we don't have a choice but to be proud of what we are made by the almighty. With that said, I don't like somali people that much.....nor do I like niggers, chinks, stinky desis and crackers.

I couldn't agree more with A lot of the things said by someguy dude. bro you raised alot of valid points but you shouting out loud waryaahee, hoos u hadal oo ceyda nagadaa. You can point where need adjustments in our way of life without resorting to demeaning words!

i can't think of anything of substance to be proud of as a somali apart from being born into an islamic culture and i have only Allah to thank for that not somalia or somalis.

"u must have selective hearing, or rather selective understanding in this instance. the question was, are u a proud somali? and my response to that was @ first on a personal level as an individual somali and i later relate the question broadly. being proud of who u are and your actions are two different things, we may not be proud of our actions most of the time but that doesn't subsequently suffice to nagate who we are, and that is why i used the past blunders of current "model societies", and that we too have a stab at reaching such levels. so, whether or not this lacks any substance for you wasn't the intent, it was simply FYI."

Fair enough.

"your premise that one should boast more than what others have before he/she can take any pride of what they behold, is a textbook example of the capitalistic reasoning that shapes much of how those of your like think."

Oh really??? Textbook capital reasoning?? Shocked How you arrived at that conclusion baffles me. Maybe you don't understand the dynamics of living in western civilisation? I guess by your reasoning we should minimise the contributions of others Sad

"so in other words, u were lucky enough to have been ancestrally risnsed with more enabling races like South Asians/Sapanish and far from the genetical depletion that is anything "African"?? and by the same token boast earlier of the achievements and contributions of Americans of African ancestry for inventing the traffic light and performing open heart surgeries?...hmmmm dare i say disingenuous. perhaps the question "are u proud"?...is better suited to u than us, granted u figure out "who" to be proud of."

No, I don't consider myself lucky, but my cultural heritage is alot different. My ancestors were not 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation African-American. I don't shy away from anything that's African. Check my posts, I've posted so many times about my cultural heritage which includes "black". The thing is I don't have direct black ancestry from Africa but I know it runs somewhere in my blood line because my dad has some black blood in him. He wasn't even born in America or Africa so that should tell you something. Shocked

For the record, I didn't boast about some of the achievements about "blacks" as you'd like to think. In fact, if you go back to that post, you will see that i was responding to Alluring's ignant post about "what has blacks contributed to the world besides teenage mothers i believe it was". Shocked

I merely highlighted afew things that blacks had done. I would hardly call that "boasting". I just responded to a question that's all.

and yea, I'm proud of who I am because my culture is diverse as is yours. We both have something that defines our identity as a people Cool

"i'll have u known that the pattern of civilization is one that is continuum, passing from people to people, era to era.....and the present day technological advances your are eargerly awarding to anything but Africa are merited to the founders of the very notion itself, hmm i wonder where that knowledge came from first??."

Are you kidding me? You're actually trynna tell me that historically,Africa was the most technologically and scientifically advanced continent in the world? Shocked Name me one African nation that is industrialised or technologically advanced that is part of the G7 Shocked

---------------------------------

precisely, u see advanced knowledge(currently sitting outside Africa's domain...as per your grasp) was founded and fosterd in Africa during the anceint world....

the point i was trying to make wasn't to try and level the present rank of Africa with certian countries in the developed world, but was rather from a counterbalance prespective with respect to the continuum of civilizations and modern knowledge...and that current knowledge is held on the hinges of past know how, albeit better refined but still, that knowledge came from somewhere...a cardinal and a key central componet to advanced science is mathematics and u and i both know the origins of this. modern science/ computing and what u regard as "technological and scientific advancement" wouldn't exist today without it, so i'd say crediting Africa for just its "natrual" resources is rather lethargic

again, a blind sided rhetorical question

answer: no dear there aren't any African countries amongst the Gangster 7 Laughing and for what its worth, i'm glad for the absense.

Zulaika,

You're cool and all, but your posts put a smile on my face everytime....lol Laughing I'll agree with you on this fact. Egypt and the Arab world to some extent have been credited somewhat with math and science contributions but who's harnessed it and turned it into what it is today? Shocked

Take for example medicine. If you go to med school to study medicine, most of the medical terms are associated with Greek philosophy. So is math and science. The only mention of Arabs and their contribution to math and science was in the very early part of its history. The Greeks had much more of a major influence on the world in those areas. They get that respect.

In case you didn't know, western civilisation is built on Science, Innovation and Technology. That's why we have industrialised nations creating innovative products to enhance the world we live in. These nations produce the best engineers, scientists, chemists, medical doctors, biologists and the lists goes on. That's the difference between 3rd world nations and industrialised countries. They have the money to invest in those areas of research.

So go ahead and take credit for the early history of math and science. The reality is the europeans have taken the foundations of it, expanded it, and made it much better than it was since its inception. The Chinese, Japanese, and some south asian countries have caught on but ask yourself this....where is Africa's influence in innovation and technology in this present day? Shocked

If you can give me an answer to that question, then I rest my case.
WadaniWeyn1,

You are proud Somali because you are savage who have no idea what he is missing. Not to mention Somali nationality is the only nationality you ever been/known. Honestly If you were Haitian or even bushman just one single day, you would have different opinion.

The problem is savage like you would run around and proclaim to be nationalistic for a second. Next second you will playing clan card and the next one you are dividing your own clan. And guess what since most of Somalis are savages like you will get thumps up because they can relate to what you are saying. All over sudden I will be the sell-out and you savage would the savior. Well, that is how it goes in Somalia. We f....cking emotionally charged bunch of untouched civilization. We proud because we are empty in the f..cking head. We need to learn and listen because it is not just accident that we been so f..ked up in 17 years and can't unf..ked up on our own.

When the world try to help us, savage like you play the-so-called nationalistic drums. And Lo and Behold, we are all charged and claiming the world has another agendas. We chased out USA when they try to help us. The starving somali imagines are still fresh in the eyes of the world. Now we are saying Ethiopia is taking over Somalia. What is there to be taken over?. Somalia is cursed and wasted land. There are no main resources. There are only two small streams that we call them , rivers. both small streams bring water from Ethiopian hights. And guess what! soon Ethiopia will build dams. And these two stream will dry out.

Being uncivilized savages, we hardly know anything about sea and fishery. It was only yesterday when Siyad Barre regime introduced fish to mainstream Somali markets. There was a law that no meat could be sold in Mogadishu market on tuesdays. There was fish instead. that is how some Somali savages adopted how to eat fish. Of course, Somali reer Hamar, Jareer, bajuuns use to eat fish. But normal Somali savage would even insult who eat fish.
thus, we savages can't take advantage of that long seashore. No minerals, no good oils. No skilled labour force. just savages talking outloud every where asking hand outs. We are the laughing stock of the whole motherf...cking world.

That is why we f...ked up, sir Savage Wadani and that is why your nationality ain't that hot you think.
be a bushman single day and you will find out what ar you missing.
the teacher is always pleased @ his learned pupils Very Happy

but i'll give u credit for this as my student, the word "educate" is latin for "educatus" meaning to bring out of, so knowledge isn't meant for just learning thus, it is better to make something of knowledge then to retain it, understanding is better than knowing per se. so kudos to europeans and asians for refining knowledge given.
