Give Bosaso 15 more years and it will even surpass Hargeisa and Xamar....before 1990 Bosaso didn't even make the top 30 towns of Somalia, now its in the top 5

Didn't show the shabelle's or Banadir either, and thats what I was inrterested in.

Contrary to what everyone believes I don't know much about Bay and Bakool

Really Baidoa has a bigger population then Kismayo+Bosaaso

Burao was extimated 288.000 alone and the Togdheer region was estimated 402.000

The reality is The Towns in south Somalia, and the Towns in North Such as Togdheer, Waqooyi Galbeed and Awdal has the largest population...

Baydabo and Xamar are exaggerated usually, but most of those numbers are correct. Burco size wise is roughly the same as Bosaso but I believe the population to be at least double since the structures are mostly apartment-style and not not far spaced apart like Bosaso. Burco is built like a modern city since its infrastructure was entirely built by a government, but Bosaso infrastructure is almost entirely civilian-created, so it looks like a messed up old fashioned sort of town. Check Burco on google earth, it has a lot of factories and residential areas, and the urban planning was designed mostly by government sources in the 60s, 70s, and further down.

Only Hargeisa and Burco are major towns in the Northwest, Borama is slightly smaller than Gaalkacyo and the rest are Qardo-sized towns like Gabiley, Lascanood, and the rest.

I don't trust these NGO stats, its full of lies. I remember my cousin telling me he lied about the funding of a project building a bridge in Garowe (puntada area or something), they gave his office almost a million dollars while only 70k was necessary LOL

Im gonna be Honest, the Former Goverment spent alot of money on Burao's
Infrastructure, its was considered one of the most important cities in Somalia because of the Livestock trade, it has the biggest Saylad in East Africa, and the Roads built by the former Goverment in Burao connects Somaliland to- Puntland- and the South--
