My mom is reer Wardheer, she was born in Gelaadi and my dad in khelaafo...neither of them have ever seen Sacad or Habar Gidir anywhere west of Seddex Xiglo

west of Seddex Xiglo lives

-Reer Bicidyahan
-Reer Maxameed
-Reer Khalaf (Cumar Maxmuud)
-Layl Kase
-Celi and Habar Ciise Mareexaan

How path would Sacad take to get to hawd? even Og are practically non existent there...when Celi and Reer Bicidyahan had their wars, the Og all run away cuz they thought they would be caught in the war

The Cayr and we have a better relationship than any of those groups have with Sacad and even the Cayr don't come a hundred KM near our territory..you are a joke wallahi, like I say beer laxowsiga iga daa

p.s. You are insulting Sacad by the Makaahiil thing, essentially you are say yes they are illegitimate, some Sacads I know would slap you in the mouth right about now

Xamud,

I have many relatives who lived in Mustaxil, Kelaafo, Qabdhihare (many famous Sacad businessmen originated from here) etc.

Voltage,

Sacad do go into Wardheer for grazing when there is a drought. It is a custom.

Ask your father, about Keelafo. The son of Boqor Olol Dinle (AUN) was married to a Sacad woman.

AS for crossing these territories, nomads do that all the time.

P.S. Sacad's mother was Makahiil.

Btw, I would love to continue this discussion but lets get back to Djibouti

Sacad & Ogaden have had long historical ties. Our livestock during droughts go into Wardheer and pasture on Ogaden land. My awowe lived in Wardheer and was once tried to get deported from the area by these Bicidiyahan who filed a complaint against him with the British colonial officer and it was the Ogaden who defended him and said he was a native of the land. So when I see an Ogaden, I see kinsfolk.
When your grandfather was alive, Wardheer was a 100% Mareexaan territory. abdiwahab get your facts straight when talking about Somali issues.

Do you know Shire Jaamac Axmed??

He is the man who started the Ethio-Italian war when Amharo came to Wardheer and said count your camels Mareexaan, the shot he fired started the Ethio-Italian war...that is why he is called "Adan loow" because he got hit in the knee

Ask Cilmiile adeer, as usual your lies are seriously hurt by your lack of historical knowledge..the Sacad of Hobyo in Hawd

My mom and both grandparents are reer wardeer, only my dad was not born in the district and he was born a little bit away in Geladi this is not something you can debate with me about

KOA & Sahan are actively involved in our politics. They step into the forays of our national affairs so why should I exclude myself from discussing Djibouti.

Again, the crime here is that I am NOT supportive of Djibouti's position. That is it.
Yes, they are active in our INTERNAL politics...yet both are more anti-Ethiopia then you have been!! Can you deny that??

If you were to talk about the Afar should get the presidency for once...understandable...but to support the enemy at a time when their country is at war is really unfortunate.

Voltage,

Again, I am weighing the defense of Djibouti with the actions of their government. I don't see a reason to rally around or express support for Djibout knowing that Djibouti contributes to the hostilities facing Somalia.

Abdiwahab I more knowledgable about you in Somali politics and I have yet to see where Djibouti contributes to our hostilities or HAS.

You say this because Djibouti's current peace talks

a Majeerteen can say the same thing about Djibouti and the Carta where Cabdiqaasim was elected president

Djibouti has been Somalia's best friend and history will record it as such, no went through as much trouble as to make peace in our country and if both sides accuse it then they must be doing something correct

Abdiwahab, wallahi I am not being tribalistic, but only the Darood nomads cross each other. The Habar Gidir are not allowed to and it has always been like this.

Resources are scarce as it is, no one wants to share especially with shisheeye..my grandma told me even 30 years ago, Majeerteen, mareexana, and Layl Kase up there had an unspoken law..if ever any of the Habar Gidir came to their daaq in the hawd, they would all attack them wich is fukked up wallahi

Voltage,

Lets put the clan talk aside for another thread (I would be very happy to continue it).

I am going to debate your assertion that Djibouti has not contributed to hostilities against Somalia.

1. You may have been a toddler in 1993 when Djibouti allowed the US to use its airbases to carry out AC-130 gunship strikes against South Mogadishu. The US at the time approached Zenawi and Moi to allow use of airstrips in Ethiopia and Kenya to which both declined. Aptidoon of Djibouti accepted and for months, the AC-130s flew sorties from Djibouti into Somalia. Those AC-130 sorties killed many people.

2. Djibouti's port is a major route for Ethiopian arms imports. It knows that these weapons are used to fight insurgencies in Somali Galbeed & Somalia.

3. Djibouti hosts the Horn of Africa Terror Center which plans blockades, airstrikes and other operations inside Somalia.

So Djibouti does contribute to hostilities albeit in a "passive" manner.

Abdiwahab.

1. Baseless Assertion. Why would the U.S use Djibouti airbase for operations in Somalia when even the thickest of the Caydiid operation they were flying from Mogadishu airport?

2. Djibouti is a small nation without an economy so it is dependent on their ability to serve as a trading hub. Ethiopia is a landlocked nation of 80 million. Djibouti would be a fool to refuse them legitimate business when the profits are so lucrative.

3. It is unfortunate but I am sure Djibouti did not do that because they want to obstruct peace in Somalia (which Ethiopia actively pursues) but rather to get closer to the U.S.

Isee! The Leelkase use too settle in massive numbers, but they also made movements and moved too Dudub. Even though you will find loads of Leelkase In Wardheere today because theres still some Sub clans who live there.

War Leelkase and Marexaan have a special relationship! my MJ fam members allways tell me! Marexaan Intuu Kismayo qabsaday buu Daroodki eryay Leelkase kaliya ku haray. My Uncle told me that back in the days when Morgaan was trying to capture Kista he came too mudug in order too get Askar. He also came too Goldogob! waa la dhagaxeyay sii ficaan then they called Kista and told them that hes plotting on something

Xaamud;
Walaahay waa Jimcee; the few Reer-Biciid-Yahans in Wardheer can't venture out of their houses at night...They are there because they bake the Canjeero for the Ethiopian troops...The two biggest stores in Wardheer today belong to Sacad.....I have more Sacad cousins than all the other minorities added in Wardheer....If I were you, I wouldn't even bother talking about the degraded and humiliated life the few Dhabayocos endure in Wardheer....

As for the Sacad and Ogaadeen history; I don't care how it came about; I am just following my ancestral culture in protecting that linkage....Ul iyo Diirkeed Saaxiib.....

Voltage,

Again, you were still a toddler in 1993 and lack very little knowledge about AC-130s. These planes could not have taken off from Muqdisho Airport to conduct airstrikes because of logistical difficulties since the airport was being used by the UN, the issue of space to launch attacks and sorties from the limited runaway that had to be shared with other planes. The only US aircraft inside Somalia were the helicopters not AC-130s.

Again, you were a toddler who was not alive to remember what happened in 1993. Djibouti hosted those planes in 1993 as they do it now.
