What the f.uck does it matter what clan they are?

They are MUSLIM, and SOMALI.

The fact that those are humans like us is enough info.

South Somalia (the riverine part) = Lush green, fertile = The most famine cases recorded

North Somalia = You won't find a single starving (native) person.

Just admit it, we are more advanced, we import food from abroad and make us of wells to irrigate our farms.

In the south they just put a seed in the ground and hope in allah it will become food one day.

Half of the Banana, Watermelon and Mango production in the south is ment to be exported to Waqooyi/Puntland.

I am amazed that anyone can look at those images of starving children, women and innocent civilians and try to justify it "ooh its bad but their people did this that or the other" well the starving kids did nothing and the same people who believe Hargeisa and Burco deserved to get bombed by Somali Army are the same people here telling us these kids deserved to starve because of what combatants from their qabiil did. Well thank god I no longer have to share a country with sick people like you.

to Aaliyah:

you seemed a smart girl, but you just as same as them. i mean just because you dont share a country with us (which btw technically you actually DO  but whatever rocks your boat darling  ), does it make you feel better? im confused here help me out. what are you trying to say? just because in your mind you no longer a Somali person, in your mind you are somalilander, you dont care???? :?

to the sick people here on snet:
there is not such a thing as "their" people horta hore. somalis are somalis, no matter what region this is happening in. and muslims are muslims. you guys should open your eyes walahi. these are our brothers and sisters, our children, our future, our blood. and all you guys crae about is qabiil!! i mean come on...yes we might joke bout qabiil every now and then, but for real the world is laughing at us, thinking somalis are the most weirdest, dumbest people on earth. we have one religion, one culture, one language, yet we fight about the one differences we have=qabiil!? but what about all the other factors, dont they matter too? doesnt the fact that somalia is in crises mean anything to you? the fact that is OUR people that are dying at the end of the day matter to you?

its really hurtful to know that this is what we becaome. a nationg of xaasidiin :(

Somaliweyn, the whole repetitive "Barre's forces retreating" is meant to make a certain clan seem as thou when they went through Bay and Bakool out of evilness burned down farms and what not. When its clear ceydiid and his militia were the ones that refused aid to those people. The Marexaan militia attack the SDM, defeated them, and went back to their land. Ceydiid refused aid for the people and this what lead to the U.S and U.N intervention and the mass starvation. This has nothing to do with the Marexaan and Raxanweyn militia wars!
