Re: MY TRIP TO SOMALIA (MAQAAL IYO MUUQAAL)
honestly speaking there is really no difference between puntland and somaliland in terms of development. they are both corrupt right to the core and desperately poor. it's kind to call their goverments shambolic, (in fact that is bit harsh on the somaliland goverment to comapre to puntland). they both milk the international community for donations on bogus projects but u will never see an aid organisation outside of garowe and hargeysa. all the other major cities are neglected and some times they're deliberately starve of funds and donations. everything is monopolies and the right export and import essential good have sold to rich individuals, which mostly foreigners. moving the difference between the cities. hargeysa- is a cosmopolitan and the only where somaliland has any authority.GENERAL_SNM wrote:Whats the main difference between say somaliland and puntland, between Burco and Hargiesa and Las anood. Whats the mood of the people in these different regions, how do they differ?peace- wrote:War Peace what have you learnt on your trip that you went aware of before with regards to northern somalia?GENERAL_SNM wrote:War Peace what have you learnt on your trip that you went aware of before with regards to northern somalia. I mean you know I dont particularly support anything but my qabil and once we remove Riyole the good times should arrive. So what surprised and what shocked?
sxb this a essay type question that deserves fiveteen page answer.be more specific
burco- is tense and it sure to be flash point when during the elections, everybody knows the results of the election have already been decided.
laas anod- well the population of las anod are withdrawn and disinterested from the politics of puntland and somaliland.
