You need to deal with reality, there is no such thing as Somaliland. Without any Ethiopia interference, Somaliland would fall within days. Somaliland is a state within Somalia, nothing more, nothing less.I really don't care what a crackers says about Somalia. They are the one who drawn up these fake borders which has plagued Africa till today. They gave those HIV infected Kenyans and Ethiopians NFD and Ogadenia. We need another Siad Barre, to teach you punks a lesson about patriotism

I have said this before I would give the people in those disputed regions the choice if they choice not be part of SL, then thats fine by me as long as everything west of ceerigaabo is SL including caynabo
surrender wrote:b) chose someone that rep somaliland well
Riyaale's time will come but then it is entirely up to Somalilanders for who they choose as president
surrender wrote:c) use their port well/more to make it something like bosaso port
This again comes down to incompentent leadership from riyaale so insha'allah when his time comes to leave office we will improve berbera back to it's glory days pre civil war.

Why do people obsess about Somaliland anyway when we all know none of the other "Somalilands" ( Djibouti, NFD, Ogadenia) would ever join Somalia?! :|
That's exactly my point as long as Djibouti is a seperate country why should Somaliland be part of a somaliweyn?
Isn't Djibouti full of Afars?
Djibouti is majority Somali and the government is run by majority somali and the president is Somali, so what does that tell you?

Imaam hutu king waa miskiin, ilaahay naarta ha ku fageeyeee. Do you know how Somalilanders beg recognition? They present pictures of Moqdisho burning to the West and say "look at these animals" "We can't be part of this". At least puntlanders stuck with you throughout the years while the Landers pray more violence for Moqdisho so they can be recognized.

You are not Imaam anymore, typical brainless hutu

It's all Unity my friends. Somali unity is muqadas, and few disgruntled Isaaqs won't change that fact. We all know a lot of Garhajis who are 60% of Isaaqs are pro Somaliweyn, so it's only mater of time bro

It just seems to be a waste of time seceding when the world still doesn't recognize it (cause thats the objective, right? not only to distance from the chaos), Somalia is still without any national order for as long as the secession has been in place... are these nations wanting to recognize another poor nation? No, its more convenient for the world to deal with Somalia as one issue. If it hasn't happened now, it never will which means you need a government in Xamar to recognize you and theres no hope of that happening. So its a situation where you're stuck in the position you're in for pretty much the long haul.

Somalis are just a depressing group of people, everyone wants their own way. I can understand the frustration with the groups in the south always fighting and having a stalemate we all know Xamar is a headache...but they also want their way or the highway. :|
