Ka darag:- Come on sis, you're better than this. Don't copy Basra, this is a serious topic about a well known and respected Sheikh. Pay your respects, and just move along. Don't ruin the topic.
okay :| i just think they r overdoing it a little bt okay.
canugtan yar wax baa udhiman wallah lets give the age excuse and move on.

They say if you want to be praised just die and all sorts of praise will start pouring from all corners. pple will praise you irrespective of wether you were good or bad . it doesn't matter if you were a thief or a hated president, dhimo and people will still praise u. but wacadallah this is a unique and different case, sh moxammad rashad may Allah grant him the highest platform of jannah deserves all the good things said about him here and everywhere else. I had the opportunity to listen to one of his lectures in southall london and wallah u could tell he was a decent sheikh who meant what he said from the bottom of his heart. there were about four sheikhs giving lectures one after the other and him and sh mustafe stood out for me.He was very emmotional and cried most times amid the lecture. most ppl cried too. i rarely drop a tear in emmotional scenarios but i coulnd't bear seeing the sheikh cry after every aya that poured out his mouth and in the end i walked out. one would have been forgiven to think he was seeing something that the rest didn't see. it was like he was crying for all of us humans or somalis. camal maxaa dadkan ku dhacay, miyeysan ogeyn waxa ka dambeeyo ayuu u ooyeye. The other time, i saw him walking in an arean called harlesden NW london outside the somali shops, i was driving by and there were ppl pouring to say their greeting to the sheikh. i couldn't go out to say my salaams to him as i was middle of a heavy traffic the last time i saw him a life. Only two encounters and he had that much effect on me, imagine if you interacted most of life with the graet sheikh. i can truely feel you yunfresh. May Allah reward for beautifully written & fitting eulogy.

Wallahi if i could be a even a aquater of the man he was i did be a contented man.

I heard he was a great man and imam. May Allah grant him the highest degree of Jannah and give sabr to his family. Hope one of his sons will jump to become like his dad. The community has lost someone of quality. I have family in Ottawa and they are sad that he is gone.
