Why wouldn't I want Greater Somalia? What reasons do I have to undermine this fundamental Somali belief?
Its not a reality or possible today, maybe in the future. My point was that the OG need greater somalia for survival you is just belief an idea. If it becomes reality great if not its not the end of the world to them it is.

Its like me a Somalilander greater somali sounds like a great idea but its just that and idea.
You thought wrong, saaxib. I believe in the idea of Greater Somalia provided that certain obligations are met

Wanting a greater somaliaweyn yet undermining the efforts of any region or for that matter treating their values or regional authonomy. Denial of each regional right to self determination is surely the quickest way to forever end the dream of greater somaliweyn.

- We cant escape from the basic fact that we are all somali.
- We cant escape that we are in the horn of africa

Somaliweyn is being used by many as a Dike weilds a strap-on.

Somaliweyn is not something that can be dictated or enforced it must be WON by shear ackowledgement of common benefit to all concerned.

Somaliweyn's worse enemies are the ignorant fools who out of pride refuse to giveup the carcas of their former DONKEY and it is exactly these fools and their fiable minds that will polarise the minds of many to forever hate and reject the notion or concept of somaliweyn.

Somaliweyn can only ever be realised when all somalis concentrate on their respective regions and one day meet on a level platform to cooperate on issues of common benefit. Be it currency, policy, trade, security...

Hate, envy, riducule, cross-regional intervention and underming at local or international level of the achievements of some regions  leads to death of somaliweyn.

Somaliweyn will never be delivered via dictatorship :!: :!: :!:

TL your on the defensive sxb. I dont doubt your believe or its sincerity, however I do doubt that you would allow your qabil to march into Somali galbeed inorder to achieve greater somalia, On the other hand you would love to see them all get their guns and set of for xamer. Its not wrong just different priorities.

Ps, you cant be friends with both OG's, and Zenewi. You have to make a choice and alienate one.

That "Tabloid" was present at the Meeting, i dont see where they have claimed the PM was going to be fired...I didnt have to hide the source, im searching for the audio to put this to rest.In your pursuit to paint the Goverment in a positive image, your unwilling to agree to something that even the Professor has admitted to.
The truth is most of the news coming out of this issue has been covered by kenya newspapers and the "Jubbaland" news outposts.

Something like this you would expect all players to remain silent on, so sorry i cant bring you the NEWYORK TIMES on this sxb.

But lets agree to disagree anyway.

TL,

Your writing proves nothing but that your English is good. Besides, it seems you getting emotional and defensive on this one. It could be cause of that we discussing a thread which is dedicated to the president. However, you didn't fellow much of what Hanqdh & I said, let alone the issue at hand.

It's well known that this was a joint effort made by all JL and gedo initiative locals, elders, and the Kenyan key influential personas who want to to see a good and strong Somali government for the need displaced Somali population. The minister of transportation had to only watch from distant and assist with out disturbing the spirit and unity of the Somali troops in Kenya.

European union, Igad and AU and as well as that of the US embassy are aware off the contract. The naive president him self supports basic idea but when Melez suggested that these troops should be taken to either Doolo or Mogadisho, immediately Xidig and C/rashid were sent to Nairobi to persuade the concerning parties to change the original plan and follow Melez's request.

This has nothing to with conspiracy theories or my personal judgment. Simple facts that anyone who is aware of what is going in Nairobi would know has been given to you.

You trying to hard but you just ended up making assumptions. The forces that are prepared are ready to deployed to Kismaayo awoowe and no body could change its course since it bears it's significance. I though you were well informed about it but you have disappointed me big time.

Zenawi is not relevant to this discussion.

I think the issue of Great Somalia can only be tackled by a central government and not by some random groupings made of individuals with vested interests. This mismanagement of Greater Somalia led our country to a catastrophic defeat in 1977 and to this day, hasn't made any progress other than few hit and runs. One can only support something when it is legitimate and is mainstream.
