I hate old people that stick around. I hate Saado, Maryan Mursal, Nimco Yaasiin, etc. They are way passed their prime and they are involved in an industry were beauty is valued and considered. In my local Somali TV chennel, whether to imperfection or laziness, the camera men gets these old ladies to sing classics or new songs and zoom in to their face like no other. and you see their teeth, like Maryan here, and their makeup, crumped lips, pimples, hair, loose bodies, and everything you wished was hidden from you. why cant they just stay away and retire for life. make some cibaadaha and prayer, be stateswomen and run for peace, and give talks but dont come on tv and act like you are 20 years old.
