So your whole idea of opposing Somaliland is premised on its name Somaliland?

If that's how simple-minded you are, then I guess I have nothing left to say on this most important matter!

Walaal lets unite and stop this childish talk.
Galia,

Lets suppose hypothetically that the TFG has finally achieved control over Somalia!

How would they attempt to reunite with Somaliland. Do you really think that we will come to the union just like that! without opposition!

Tell me your idea of how to reintegrate Somaliland into the Somalia once more?

Well Somaliland would be a partner, they can have the President and PM position. It won't really matter to me if Isaacs dominate, in fact i would prefer to see the government partner with isaacs rather than Fagash. I don't like the Fagash as much as you but i know i have to live with them. The idea is having a team work and trust between Hargaysa and Mogadishu. Walahi i want Somaliland to shine and i respect the way you isaacs got the Fagash on lock. The Fagash would have probably used the ethiopians to wipe out Hargaysa if thy could like they done to Mogadishu but Mashallah you guys are too smart for that. Somaliland Hanoolato walaal and may it always shine :sland:

With the TFG's backing Somaliland can jump to new heights, we have international backing that you guys could really use to get contacts with other countries to progress the development of Somaliland to build highways, towers etc.
Just come and sit on the table with us, support the TFG with troops and who knows what heights the brotherly partnership could achieve.

This thread is full of people with an inferority complex. Galia, I doubt any Daroods want anything to do with you as well. Last I checked, we have a region called PUNTLAND. You can keep that disregarded pile of crap, you call Mogadishu to yourself.

That can be said about your misguided clan. Last I checked we weren't having babies by Ugandan peacekeepers and writing to newspapers saying "my child is Ugandan he deserves to see his country and his people." UF iyo UF times a million.

Galia,

That is not a viable option nor even possible. In your haste to develop a partnership between Hargeisa and Mogadishu, you are excluding many other people(s) from participating in the normalisation of ties between all the States of the Somali pennisula. What you have derogatorily referred to 'faqash' still have tangible power that can counter whatever Hawiye conjure up in their Villa, as already been demonstrated.

With all this rhetoric, it never cease to amaze me that despite claims of having power/control over Somaliland, it will prove to a major hurdle for any Transitional government to have an tangible power over Somaliland. Just recently, Faroole realised in order for Puntland to become an authority able to stand on its own feet, it had to sacrifice its geo-political irredentist designs over the SSC. Now Puntland has improved, albeit slowly but they have accepted that Somaliland is no illusory figment but a tangible and credible power to be reckoned with.

I hope you are not insinuating that I have inferiority complex or for that matter Galia?

How exactly did you come to that conclusion?

This has been a very productive discussion, which has been lacking on these board for sometime now. Please don't insult people like that, either join the discussion, or stop hurling insults! that does not bode well for the productivity of the thread.

M,
Walaal don't confuse us for Puntland, this is the real deal that you are dealing with. What you see now is Hawiye infighting which looks about to be ending. The government is born. The question is that do you want to be a equal partner in somalia or must we storm Hargaysa carrying your Dhulbaante foes on our backs.
If Hawiye lion hearts are welcomed in SSC, then walahi we shall encamped ourselves by the authority of the TFG government. And please expect a brutal battle once you see our forces because we won't run unlike the coward Pussyland forces but give you hell :som: :som:

I do not understand this alliance between Somaliland and the Hawiye. If the memory of history serves me correct the majority of soldiers who did the damage in the 1989 war in Northern Somalia and thus were part of largest member of President Barre's Administration were the Hawiye.

But I do laughing at this hugging and kissing you guys are both doing now. But I guess when the common enemy is the Faqash you all are united.

Surely its better to come to the negotiation table rather than issuing threats that will result in the destruction of property and spilling the blood of innocent civilians. We, Somalis have already seen enough killing and infighting. Attacking Somaliland will not improve the situation but will further escalate the hostilities.

Like the old somali adage: a burning house will not spare another house if it can set fire on it.
