I was only joking about that part...I actually noticed there were a lot of Issaqs there...I personally am facebook friends with few that I met in Djibouti!! And NO I'm NOT from Gedo...I'm from the f-king mudug....ever heard of that area before? xoolo! anyways I like to pick on the Isaaqs...I never negatively talk about any qabiil other than Isaaqs on snet...because they r easy to make fun of lol

Besides, I left Somalia when I was 3 years of age...I actually know more about Djbouti than Somalia...from now on I'm from Djbouti hahaha jk
My apologies if you were joking

Although we may not live in Djibouti anymore and are unlikely to permanantly return there
we're still fond of the place

Mida kale Olive, My geographical knowledge of the south is a little hazy
Honestly ma kala aqaano gedo or Mudug. Lets just say you're from somewhere south

I believe I'm right when I say your lands are generally in the direction of South
when your in Hargeisa. I base my knowledge of Inahabited Somali lands from Hargeisa.

Meaning Someone from the west of Hargeisa i.e. Jigjijiga is Reer Galbeed
Someone from Burco is Reer Bari and someone from Mudud or Gedo is from the South.
If you're not comfortable with being called Reer Konfureed, what shall I call you?

What I meant about Djibouti not liking Daroods Had nothing to do with the locals, but the Djiboutian Gov posture.

They supported the USC in the political conference that was held right after the war

Arta Conference Where Abdiqassim was selected they chaired and orginized.

They supported the Asmara Faction Vs Abdullahi Yusuf and eventually helped push Him out of power

That being said, I was just taking the piss, I just wanted to say that and see the reaction.

Btw, I've never been to Djjibouti but My Brother who's a senior executive for a Gulf Company was part of the delegation that originally met with the Djiboutian President in His palace to give the initial outline on the Project. He was the only Somali in the delegation and the President in the middle of the room was like "Ma Soomali baad tahay" while everybody else in the room started laughing. He actually turned out to be a very good fellow.

Djabouti is too damn hot. The sad part is they don't have other cities to escape the heat.
