This is not something the Somaliland government or the Somalia TFG government wants this was released on the Conference in London in feb 2012 now if these talks dont happen now they will happen in the neat future perhaps after august when Somalia has a new Government.
The Conference recognised the need for the international community to support any dialogue that Somaliland and the TFG or its replacement may agree to establish in order to clarify their future relations.
So the international community will mediate between the Somaliland and Somalia talks this will happen Faroole has no say in this the TFG Govt will appoint the people they represent including the various clan states in Somalia Puntland galmudug aswj Azania etc etc.

Let me get this straight, Somaliland is going to meet with TFG concerning its Agenda and prospects, but Puntland is going to be present in that meeting too. :|

Kuma kacsaniyi, i just dont like people who dont know their place  we have a government which PL comes under, they are a state and should act like one, they have representatives in the TFG, if they want to be there one of them should go. Ka korboodka looma baahno if we want to move forward.
PL has every right to be there. If there is a discussion about SL's secession, the people of Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn need to be present and their regional state is PL. Who gave TFG the mandate to speak for every one when that admin does not extend beyond Mogadishu?

As i said you guys will either swallow your pride or will boycot it. Boycotting it will have severe consequences, so that's highly unlikely. Bal aan aragno

LOL I see why they don't want to deal with the real stakeholders, ileen greenday oo kale bey raabaan oo aaminsan SL use to be a country

Habarta waxa ka baq baaq siinaya baan garan waayey. Doesn't she know that without PL, there is really no TFG?

What ties Puntland and Galmudug to the same level in this discussion? does SSC have Galmudug supporters?! does Galmudug have territory it claims in Northern Somalia?! Does Galmudug have any stakes whatsoever in this region?

Its simple. The talk if there ever is one will be 3rd party involved simply because Isaaqland doesn't speak for most of SSC and its inhabitants. If people can't get that thru their heads then wax baa ka heysta :|

If you can't get it through your head that this talk is NOT about pirateland or the qabilist hartinimo it seeks, but it is a much bigger issue. It is about moving on from/ issues after 1960 union between Somalia's CENTRAL government and Somaliland's government. The case has always been like this and naturally things should be started from this point.

Khatuumo/''SSC'' said it has nothing to do with Pl and rejected them... so then what business do the pirates have sticking their nose everywhere Sl goes? Its a no wonder that the central gov. cannot get on its feet when it has such saboteurs constantly undermining its authority.

But as was said, its a whatever. :)

No, British Somaliand was a 4 day government, its whole purpose was to join to the rest of what is now called Somalia, and the issue at hand stems from post 1991, not 1960.
Khatuumo/''SSC'' said it has nothing to do with Pl and rejected them... so then what business do the pirates have sticking their nose everywhere Sl goes? Its a no wonder that the central gov. cannot get on its feet when it has such saboteurs constantly undermining its authority.
No one is talking about Khatuumo, thats another party for another day, were talking about the SSC Pl supporters and the ones who want to remain with Puntland. And forget about Maakhir, that 100% PL

Article 6 of the Puntland constituition:
LAND AND BOUNDARIES

1. Puntland consists of the Regions of Bari, Nugaal, Sool, South Togdheer (Buuhoodle district), Mudug (save for Hobyo and Haradheeere) and Sanaag (save for Ceelafweyn and Northwest Ceerigaabo District).

2. The Boundaries of Puntland are those of her regions and districts before the outbreak of hostilities in 1991.

3. The Puntland territory comprises: the airspace; the soil and the subsoil; the territorial waters, its contiguous zone and the Exclusive Economic Zone at sea up to a distance of 200 nautical miles from the mean low water mark, and with the Continental Shelf.

4. The territorial sovereignty of Puntland is supreme and cannot be ceded or violated.
This is by the way a constituition the TFG supports. the people you wanna speak to alone ;)

This is not up for debate, Puntland will be involved whether you like it or not, you can bet on that
