I wouldn't call it useless as it keeps the family tree growing. I never asked by how many, I'll ask next time. I'm sure there were two but IDK if he married 2 together.... does that make sense? I think he remarried after his 1st wife died.

Nah if it's qabiil waa iska caadi, no need to breed 20 kids to extend a already large clan/subclan. I'm talking family, BLOOD. My family don't hate each other. We just don't know each other but we all love each other even though we don't know one another. I don't know any of my 130+ 1st cousins from my father's side tbh. We only FB each other and I've spoken to some over the phone... that's about it! lool.

i am afraid to say your fear-mongering tactic is not working. polygamy is something that our beautiful religion allows us to do and anyone who opposes it is either ignorant about the wisdom behind such nicma or is full of selfishness and lack of understanding.

it is perfectly ok for women to be jealous but no one can prohibit what Allah has allowed us to do, given that all the rules regarding plural marriages are followed.

ive half siblings and i love them just like full siblings. my granpa also had multiple wives and have many uncles and aunts that i dont know them all. blame the qurbaha.

This is another reason why I don't even consider multiple wives. I have cousins, aunts, and uncles all over the world that I've never had the chance to meet. I've never met any of them until very recently. I don't think I want to put my kids in a similar situation. Though sometimes I think it's inevitable.

well, when they were in somalia, they all together in one house grow together, even my uncle when married his first wife, the Egyptian, he brough her in mugadishu and living there untill 1991. the civil war made them leave somalia. no one was living outside somali except the onces in universities in aboard, qatar, kuwait, egypt and yemen.

Dude, what are you talking about? Just cuz I don't know them doesn't mean they don't exist. My mom knows most of them and so does my father. Isma baran because they are all scattered all over the world. There's no hate in our family, both aabo & hooyo's side. There are misunderstandings & arguments but that's normal!
