Caydiid could have been a part of the ''Creme de la creme'' that Afwweyne created, the ''upper elite'' but he was a man of light. Nin wax garad ah and a brilliant general. I do not think there will ever be a man of Caydiids caliber in the Somali army ever.

During the war with Etiopia, Afwweyne did not trust him even though the Somali battalion fighting to capture DirirDhaba had lost severly and the other battalion was about to loose JigJiga but in the end Afwweyne had to give the command of those 2 battalions to Caydiid and Caydiid planned and executed the retreat without loosing any soldier.

It was the best partnership.

We the SNM tie up the body ... 3/4 of the Somali national army up in Somaliland
while the USC and SPM go through the soft underbelly of the regime and finish it by cutting of its head.

it was a partnership that needed all of them to succeed,
you cannot cut off the head with the body freely moving.
