No one could have predicted the fall of America from world stage as it happened. It is about to get worse for USA. Trump and Conservatives succeeded in destroying American institutions so they could benefit.

What trump voters consider the deep state are institutions that ensure equality and fairness, justice and access to opportunities for everyone. Once they saw America is not exclusively white and their influence was waning, they voted for a racist dummy who benefited and got rich from gaming the system itself.

Deep state had been good for Americans. Conservatives don't like American institutions in general because they view it as empowering minorities. America's demise is not far off unless the next election republicans are voted out and the damage they have done addressed.

Your average conservative is either ignorant and a peasant, or well to do and wealthy who wants to game the system to the detriment of everyone else. American government today is best government money can buy for you. It is owned by wealthy people and trump ensured he hires them into every branch of government.

America deserved Trump because it was in denial of how ignorance prevailed and racism was well and alive under the surface. Americans also voted against their interests always because of racial bigotry and fear of minorities. Now that Trump is choking everyone and republicans are doing what their wealthy donors wanted of killing regulations and any measure of accountability, I am happy to see racist ignorant peasants get fucked over for the coming four years for good.

Yeah, that's what it all comes down to. But it's been true of American politics for 40+ years after the strong 30 years post-WW2.

America is basically headed right back to the Guilded Age. All new income and wealth goes to the top, the rest of us peasants get the scraps.

And the poor and rich cadaans as you say either vote due to their xenophobia of minorities or with their pocket books to get tax cuts which will affect them and only them as the middle classes shrink.

It's fascinating to observe the decline of an empire and it eating itself from the inside slowly.
