I never underestimated Baydhabo Janey , but if I were to add it to the top 5 there would be no census to backup my claim.Itrah wrote:Agreed.RoobleAlWaliid wrote:Top 5

But the #5 spot goes to either Baidoa or Kismaayo, not Burco.
Baidoa is especially underestimated by many Somalis.
It mostly grew in the 90s and early 2000s with all the Darods who got kicked out of Mogadishu. Then later followed by others who came for work.RoobleAlWaliid wrote:I never underestimated Baydhabo Janey , but if I were to add it to the top 5 there would be no census to backup my claim.
Instability has had a negative impact on the censuses in particular the south.
One thing I noticed is how Bosaso rapidly outgrew most Somali cities -population wise- in these last couple years, but of course the route to Yemen plays a part. Why don't they switch the capital to Bosaso? Garoowe is less developed and barren.
I definitely meant state capital, but I see.Itrah wrote:It mostly grew in the 90s and early 2000s with all the Darods who got kicked out of Mogadishu. Bosaso has humid hot weather like Djibouti and Berbera. Garoowe is cooler, drier air, and more windy.I like it more. But neither will ever be the capital. Realistically it will always stay Mogadishu.
This joke never gets old: "once upon a time we used to rule habargidir". War nafta ruun uu sheeg hg somali oo dhan hadeey isugu tagto xitaa can not do that. Puntland = Waqooyi Bari. Trying to argue otherwise shows how incredibly retarded you are.
Your not the first dumb isaaq who says we're southern. Puntlanders were politically more involved in somalias government and run it from mogadisho after Italy left, hence why people say south.
But if you go back you will see that the Majerteen kingdom was known as the northern and central sultanate since he reigned as far as habar gidir land.
Bosaso is more northern and closer to Yemen then all of somaliland please pick up a map and don't humiliate yourself again.
The term waqooyi just refers to your crazy accent.
Where are the darood kids who said cabuudwaaq is the largest in central Somalia?RoobleAlWaliid wrote:Kismaayo ?, don't make me laugh....
