i know that sucks, but what about those girls that marry a guys who is "already" married. dealing with 'another' women and other kids, thats gotta suck.

i know this one lady, she is wife to a man who has three other wives, and she does not seem to mind. he comes home every three days, you know going to the whole rotating of wives. but the thing is he can handle them both mentally, physically, and financially. gotta give him a hand.

but i would never do it, if it is calaf that anothe story.

Gacalisa, don't let your stranger view of the situation fool you sis. The only non-strangers to it are the people that are involved, so don't take offense to that...

The only thing that would be apprent to outsiders is the financial aspect of their lives, at best. Maybe financially he can handle it (Which I highly, highly doubt). To be able to handle physical and mental, and what about emotional is not feasible.? I don't care what anybody say's there is no way that is possible. One woman is hard to understand and make happy. How can you make 4 women simultaneously happy in every aspect? An even better question how can you fulfil your duites as a husband (more than financial) when you are around once or maybe on a good week twice, a week. That is bullshit and we all know it.

He doesn't deserve a hand, he deserves to be quarantined men like that are a disease. He is spreading himself thin, and women deserve better than that. A paycheck and a roll in the hay once in awhile does not a husband make.

Yes, and let's not even go there about the kids. How can that be healthy for them?
Skippa, quote "How about a brand new second hand?

How can a second hand be a brand new?
Kambuli,

Sure there are! Ever heard of Daewoo, Saturn, Kia...brand new car at first glance but drives like a second hand - they give you those extended warrantees for a reason! the same is true for people...
This true story typifies a brand new second hand. I apologize if this is a little two raw (read vulgar) for some of you...This happened a few years back, On this night, I stopped by the neighborhood video joint (before blockbuster came on scene) to grab a couple of movies. There were only a couple of other cinephiles along with the young man behind the cash register. As I'm walking the ailes, checking out the new releases, I hear some feminine giggles "dhakh dhakh dhakh dhakh" coming fom the back of the store, in the vicinity of the closed off walac walac section (dhinaca cajaladaha shaaha shubista lagu hayo) ...Intrigued, I slowly wandered towards the back of the store and I can now hear distinct somali voices "alah bahalku weynaa" "intaasuu ka galiyey" and the likes! I am stunned by now, and tho' I had already gotten my movies, I lingered in front of the store a bit to see what these hornified somali kittens looked like...sure enough, a short while later, the door opens and Lo & Behold, a couple of xijaab wearing somali women in their late 20's/early 30's stepped out Shocked Shocked Shocked Any other day of the week, these two women would pass for the virginally virtuous type...I'd never been so shocked and disappointed

Skippa,

How on earth did I miss your response Exclamation

Just one question.. assuming what you wrote is the truth..let me say I am not even doubting. The topic was not Jalaabiib wearing or Xijaab wearing vs non-Xijaab wearing girls....

Ofcourse I am aware that some of jilbaab or xijaab wearing do it just for the purpose of hiding behind it when they are doing evil things Shocked There is even a saying in some parts of Somalia I have heard " Ha Iga Biqine, Ila balan" Which means, do not be fooled by my dress, I am available Laughing Laughing

Also there are God fearing girls who wear those dress just to obey the Quraan and Sunnah... Shocked

Also non-hijab wearing girls are not all bad. There are god and bad ones...

The topic was second hand husband vs brand new husbands or girls...

lol@ "ha iga biqine ila balan" never heard that one. Laughing Laughing
the xijaab was just an example. I was aiming to show that my definition of virginity is not limited to the literal meaning of the word.
you have the brand new second hand who looks the part but does not act it, the virgin proper or the genuine article, The real McCoy if you will...then there's the born again virgin.
I guess it's all semantics, at the end of the day, each person has their own standards as to what they're looking for in a mate.
And yeah, that's a true story, I wouldn't believe it either if I wasn't there Very Happy

That is true... also the CALAF is the most important part.. No one knows where they will end... No matter how you may have in your mind an Ideal wife/husband.
