Xoosade was a little bit before my time. Also I would have liked Ali Samatr to succeed MSB, as he was and still is a class act. I don't believe in dynasties. However, if I'm not mistaken, one of the ways MSB kept MJ's in check was by arming Sacad in Mudug if I'm not mistaken. MJ had nothing on Sacad in Mudug during MSB's rule, and that is what drove them insane. Please do enlighten me though.

Siad BArre fell into the trap that befalls Marexan each time: DAROODNIMO. The MJ appealed to Daroodnimo to ask Siyaad to arm them and support them against the Sacad. After the massacre of hundreds of Sacad in Mudug, the foundation of the USC was created with Caydiid flying from his post in India to lead the USC armed wing.

Xoogsade's father knew the luugoyo of the MJs and did not trust them. He also had many Sacad friends and knew their appetite for peace and for war.

Without Sacad, the Hawiye would have never united for a USC nor have the funds & leadership to overthrow Siyaad.

. Honestly I don't know if that happend or not, as I will go try to verify if this happened. Suffice it to say, ANYTHING done to help MJ's then was a mistake, as they showed the most treachory, when they were the first ones (what a suprise) to befriend Eithiopia when all other Somalis (Caydid included) hated them. In addition to that, MJ's use Darodnimo as a tool to advance themselves. Lakin I'll have to verify this story. The only other tribe besides MR that sacrificed for Darodnimo is Lelkasse. The eviction of HG from Galkaciyo, was a Marehan accomplishment (Suprise). Certainly nothing for you to boast about. Civil war was MR/Lelkasse Vs Hawiye, Ogaden. Your guys contribution was so minimal, you shouldn't even be counted really.

Ask any sarkaal from the Royal Fam of MX. For the help u gave the MJ, the MX in Gelinsoor and Galkacyo were evicted. The Saleban took the charge from Galgaduud and crushed the MX & took their lands in Gelinsoor.

As the MX pleaded for aid from the MJs who fled from the Sacad advancement into Garowe, the MJs struck a deal leaving the MX to hang out to dry.

Alas so much for "Daroodnimo"

AW, Marehan were overstretched beyond capacity. Our frontline was from Gedo to Galkaciyo. Our quandry was fighting for survival, in addition to helping our weak "brothers" who couldn't defend themselves. I feel bad for what MR had to go through then, knowing they were basically fighting entire Hawiye on their own, with Lelkasse (As MJ's contributions were negligible). Yes we may have lost a battle here or there, but suffice it to say: Puntland would have been overrun without MR.

Sxb a MR and a Hawiye, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot both.. they are the same to me sxb. So cut the crap, MR in Galkacyo live in fear.. getting gunned down everyday by Biciidyahan.
