Cabdiwahab, Man. I was joking around Shocked On a serious note and with regards to the topic, it is silly to focus on one's clan when choosing a wife or husband. Marry someone you love anD who loves you back with character because you are stuck with that person possibly for life. It doesn't matter what clan the person hails from, their clan is immaterial to the relationship and it takes two to build, maintain, and perfect a home.

My parents come from different clans, tied to them as first cousins are different clans and if our family came together on a darin for dinner, one can at least count six different somali clans tied by blood.

Reality is, in this day and age, a somali woman who finds a decent somali man is lucky.

Gamadid,

Inadeer, I have seen the folly of marrying into certain clans. I am very active in the Sacad community ever since I was like 10.

I would definitely not want to marry a woman from a traditional enemy and have her feel uncomfortable if I started talking politics or if 30 of my tool came over for a clan pow wow.

Plus, I feel very comfortable among my own people. Dating women from certain clans, and politics is bound to come up. With so much bloodletting, its not easy to intermarry with certain qabiils.

My winning formula =

Wifey = Sacad or NonSacad Enemy Clan

Abdiwahab, I would fight my clan on behalf of my wife and defend her clansmen if they were on the recieving end of my clansmen's aggression. My wife would matter more than my clan saxib. The same way I would fight all somali clans and defend my clan if they were the victims.

Gamadid,

Saxiib, then Inshallah, our paths will not cross at that time Cool

I know your type who spares the enemy only for them to come back to fight us. The calool jileec of certain laf of Sacad is well known, brother man.

Remember, always side with toolka over a woman unless tolka is saying to divorce her.

But then again, where in the World, Would Sacad and Murule or Sacad and Rer Xamar ever fight Laughing Laughing
