Those pictures of Beledweyne are from 1990s after the Americans and the civil war, the city has changed a lot in 15 years, and you are posting pictures of Bosaso from 2005-2007 loool

Bosaso is developing faster because no one is investing in the south, while people in Hiiraan invest in Xamar more than Beledweyne

but that is going to change with this current TFG/Ethiopia adventure loool

Rebel Lion, Garoowe was always a village compared to Burco and other cities, it has just started growing, population wise but is still a small city.
Nothing fishy about that.

Garoowe is like Las Qoray and Dhahar.

Burco having a higher population than Kismayo, Bossaso etc. is not suprising at all as millions of millions of money was pumped into there. Infact the only cites that received serious funding in the past Goverments were Xamar, Hargeisa, Burco then Beledweyn, Berbera and Kismayo to a lesser degree. The only thing that was built in Bossaso was the dekad but reer Bossaso worked extremely hard. Reer Woqooyi also deserve major kuddos for being civilized and not destroying what they inheritied. The fact that Bossaso, Galkacyo are among Somalia's top cities today shows how hard those people worked but it also shows how pathetic a state Somalia is in. For intance if Somalia is to become industrialized one day whole neighborhoods will have to become demolished, shops destoryed etc. due to zero urban planning. Also Reer Woqooyi will either have to get aqoonsi or join Somalia sooner or later because those highways, buildings etc. will all need serious repair soon if not already and they'll need Government loans to do that. All in all Somalia is up against it.
