He certainly sounds like he believes in what he says, it is difficult to fake sincerity. laakin, he talks too much. I swear he's given more press statements and interviews than all the other leaders combined. Although he is the spokesman, he needs to be careful about what he says. Sometimes passion can be blinding. Like he said they will continue fighting until all the Ethiopians leave all of Somalia not just Xamar and Banaadir....I totally agree with that but then he goes on to say that they will start shelling the AU troops....although I don't like their presence in Xamar, they haven't done anything wrong to the people there. You can't just shoot at people who believe they're there to help your people. I just think that sometimes one can be unwavering in his stance but at the same time show compassion and be able to differentiate between the enemy and non-enemy.

^It was actually a Ugandan doctor and that lady was the one who opened her legs to him, it was not rape and all men are weak, some more than others when it comes to that particular situation, I strongly agree with Indha-Only, they shouldnt be attacking AU troop but asking them to peacefully leave.

I dont like when people ay "how come abu mansuur is fighting in muqdisho and not baydhabo, bay bokool" etc.

Because for one, when people utter those words, they mean, why is he fighting in hawiye city [muqdisho] and not in his eelaay hometown town", it's because "alshaabaab" is not a qabiil movement, meaning they will fight whatever that's in accordance with reason and logic, let's say USA was invaded by China, particularly, the nations capitol Washington DC and Portland, Maine, what would America's priority be, to liberate Washington DC? or the small city of Portland?. Just because you niggas see everything from qabiil movement, dont expect every somali group does.

^ The ugandan 'doctor' was part of the AU troops from Uganda. He was a Soldier in their army. The AU is not some altruistic organization. He took advantage of a somali woman. What is the purpose of the AU? Their mission is done. There is no peace to keep. They should get on a boat and get to Kenya and drive home from there.

That's because Abu Mansur is a little bit crazy. I remember when that Kenyan journalist interviewed him on the front lines in December 2006, you could hear the artillery duels in the background, and the journalist was wearing a flak jacket and you could tell his men were scared sh*tless, but there he was, Abu Mansuur, standing there in a white robe and an AK, cool as a cucumber. He didn't even look agitated. He even brought his 10 year old son with him to the front lines, and that kid looked more scared than anybody.

Then after the invasion, when everyone else was holing up in Kenya or Eritrea or wherever, he was doing attacks on convoys in Bay. No-one else was ready to even start, and he had a 1-year headstart on literally everyone else. He wasn't ready either, but again, Abu Mansuur is a little bit crazy. He had no technicals, no heavy weapons, nothing really. He was ambushing them with AKs.

Because he's a little bit crazy, no-one can predict what he's going to do. Ethiopia could determine that the logical thing for him to do is X, and set up an ambush there, and he'll go and raid Y and Z, on the other side of Bay, through a jungle, with no support, and catch everyone completely offguard.

On the one hand that's awesome to have in a guerrilla commander, but Abu Mansuur is just going to cause trouble in peacetime. He should be redeployed in Ogaden once the war is over. He has a talent for asymmetrical warfare.

SOmalia's Obama wallahi.  It's really a pity he doesnt sit in SHeikh Shariif's position of being on amicable terms with the international community. Can you imagine if he were?? All SOmalis would have accepted him in a heartbeat to sit preside over a national unity government.

I just wish he wasnt so extreme, xagjirnimada aadka ma fiicno and this is the problem with him.
