Ismahan,

I would always claim to be General Caydiid (AUN)'s nephew  The look on the faces of those asking the questions was priceless. I will never forget how shocked this old woman was after she assumed I was from Bugland asking me if I was Cumar Maxmud or Ciise Maxmud. I told her I was Jalaf Muse.

Whatever loser! He asked me out for dinner (usually involves food)

I hate turkey, too dry. Steamed hilib ari, ohhhhhh thats just too too much. No apple cider.

Firefly; :rose: macaanto, iga qabo wiilkaan - Shuluqoow. At the mere mention of food he is there.

Izzy; I'm okay habibti, :rose: On a serious note, I get that VERY rarely. In my opinion it is not their business, and your response is excellent. They just want to label you, instead of taking you for the individual you are, they want to stereotype.

Ismahan, You graduated from Hopkins High? Well there is no fusq over there, largely white and Asian kids, but I graduated from Jefferson High school, and we had large Somali students. We used to come out for lunch at the same time and all crack jokes.

Some girls would wear Hijaab at home, and wear jeans under, and then when they come to school they'd put the hijaab in their locker and come with jeans wana shake that booty
