At the end of the day, its trying to find acceptance. When its for a good cause e.g. building public infrastructure, Masjids, etc for my tol, I will donate, but if its for war or to advance clan ideologies, I see no reason to put myself right in the middle of it. Warya, I am also choosy with my qaaran too. I never contribute to anything that smells of Ikhwan Heck, if I sense there are Ikhwan leading it, I refuse to contribute. My antiMakhamiinta stand has lead to personal threats against me if I set foot in Somalia from even my wayward bidca ridden ikhwan relatives.

However, if its for progressive works like humanitarian projects such as drought relief or to advance Galmudug, I donate.

I do provide moral support to tolka when its times of crisis like the Sacad iyo Soomali war of July 2006 when tolka are on the defense.

Kolombo, you misunderstood me bro. I am not telling you to seek out your own but not to avoid them and at the same time claim to be an anti tribalist. If you are opposed to tribalism, then there is no reason for you to notice qabil only when it comes to your own. I have seen this with many people who believe if they avoid their own people then they are anti tribalist. It is a weird way of thinking.
