What Xkeyse is saying is not correct and lastly Siad Barre did not accord anything based on tribes. The last governor of Gedo was Isaaq and the last mayor of Berbera was Mareexaan. Do those clans belong to those regions?

I don't whether xkeyse is right or not but I know abit about the previous government in that they would put a man from clan A as the mayor or governor of clan b's region - this was actually a good strategy as it stopped the clans from that city from competing with each other for the top job in their region.

Just because you claim you know some one who use to be this and that wouldn't change a histroical facts, in every argument you stick your nose up and out and I always break it with facts. The list of all Kismaayo governers was compiled by the respected somali author of " Sababaha Burburkii Soomaalia" and non of them include a Mareexaan , kid you knowning an Alien dopesn't prove alien exisit.

It wasn't about that. Sometimes people of the region were given posts but the government didn't think in clan baa degan like post-1991. Any Somali could move from Hargeisa to Baydhabo and become reer Baydhabo. There was no sense of qabiil dhul leh like primitive Somalis think now.

If that was the Case , why Gedo and Caabud Waaq were always ruled by Mareexaan?

Kismayo has people with dignity and sense of peace, and aren't not blood thirsty like Xamar. Xamar rejects everyone government that comes his way, cajiib? Kismayo people accept anyone that will give him peace of mind .
