Point 1 - You must accept that Cabaaye, Sh. Nuur Sh. Madar, Sh. Mubaarik, Ina Aw Aadaan, Daami etc. are in Gacan Libaax. The SL goverment considers these areas to be part of Gacan Libaax.

Point 2 - These areas are thought of as not being HY neighbourhoods (HA and Gabooye mix from what I have heard/experienced) - I have no proof other than anecdotal evidence and the election results (Where the votes were largely along clan lines).

Point 3 - These areas are quite populated as that Wikimapia link to H-town and its neighbourhoods shows.

873,000 registered - I believe there were very few double registrations BUT only 555,000 voted. This is a turnout of 63%
Is it not plausible that some areas voted more than other areas? Which may explain some of the discrepancies.

You can't have it both ways , lets assume these numbers are right and sacad muuse or habar awal in Gacanlibaax number almost 50% of Gacanlibaax. 26 June with total 24k sacad muuse votes in addition to Gacanlibaax sacad muuse vote or habar awal vote thats less votes then Gabilay which is total of 37k votes for Kulmiye!!

I do NOT believe HA make up that high a percentage. Many things can easily offer a better explanation than your Alcohol-fueled conspiracy theories.

This can be explained by many things but I suspect the drought might have played a major role (Seeing as the East and Hawd were worse affected).

Point 2. If the turnout was that low - It could also be postulated that the rate of registration was low - It is conceivable that the same forces which led to a low voter turnout also led to a low registration rate. It is possible that again the East did not register themselves as much as the West (Again because of the drought).

All of the SL clans have settled in Hargeysa - Primarily in what were previously "HA" neighborhoods - Even our home in Xeedho (Outside H-town) we were surrounded on 3 sides by Dhulbahante families. This is anecdotal evidence I know, BUT I do not for a second believe that all the voters for Kulmiye in Ibraahim Koodhbuur, 26ka Juun and Gacan libaax are HA - Heck probably not even a majority.

"There were quite a lot of votes counted from mostly from the centre and west of the country, so the partial recount was a pretty substantial recount. The margin barely changed as a result of the recount. Notice he said the outbreak of rioting was because of the dissatisfaction of the Wadanidiids with the results, not because of systematic rigging or voter fraud.

Which leads us to why the Wadanidiid decided to lie to the public and claim they had found fake ballots which led to the rioting:

"There was quite a bit of dissatisfaction from the big opposition party, we interpreted this as being to some extent perhaps a lack of confidence that they had won, we did not know what the result was so we were reading into the reaction so of people".
